Teaching the English language within the playschool is based on the priciple that learning is fun. Our overall aim is to create a positive attitude towards learning the language within each child. Every child will develop an understanding of the English language at his/her own pace, progressing from a passive understanding of the language to an active one.

We aim to strengthen children’s positive self-image by helping them to discover their own capabilities and potentialities. At the playschool a child learns to participate in activities within a group situation and develops essential communication and social skills.

We operate according to fair and well planned rules that everybody knows and follows. With the clear rules and routines we create a safe environment for the children to develop their growing independence and initiative. We also value good manners and kindness towards each other.

A functional partnership with the parents is important for us. We aim to create an flexible, open and interactive atmosphere within the playschool for the well being of the children. We also have an active parents’ committee that parents are welcome to join.
